Brief history about our amiable organization


Rotary Club Isolo Metropolitan was founded in the 2018–2019 Rotary year by a group of vibrant and passionate humanitarians, committed to making a lasting impact in their community and beyond.

The club began its journey under the inspiring leadership of Charter President Rtn. Gbenga Shodunke, whose vision set the tone for excellence in service.

Since then, the mantle of leadership has been carried with distinction by Rtn. Edward Quadri, Rtn. Wale Olanniyo, Rtn. Gbenga Osasanmi, and Rtn. Kunle Adeshina—each building on the legacy of service and community development.

Today, the club is proudly led by its first and only female President, the dynamic and Irresistible Rtn. Funks Shodunke, who continues to drive the club forward with passion, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to Rotary ideals.

Rotary Club Isolo Metropolitan remains a beacon of hope, service, and fellowship in the heart of Lagos.
